Great fun and excellent value We booked the 13km descent (via Canoe Cevennes) and had an amazing time. After you book, you are emailed a starting destination (this varies according to route). You drive there and park, pay and get kitted out with life jacket, helmet and container to keep your belongings in onboard. Due to our limited French we waited around a bit, not knowing what happened next, but within 10 minutes or so a bus arrived to pick everyone up and take us upstream to the different route starts (one each for 7km, 9km and 13 km). When there you select your kayaks and head off.The 13km route was suitably challenging, with several rapids, rock formations and even a weir to negotiate. We took a picnic and despite several capsizes were pleasantly surprised to find that all our food (and the rest of our stuff) was still dry when stopped to eat it. The scenery is stunning, and although there are plenty of other people out on the river, it never felt too busy.We are experienced kayakers and thought the route offered the right balance between challenge and easy gliding (to take in the sights).We paid 25 Euros each for around 3 and a half hours on the river - which I thought was great value.

During our holidays we wanted to canoe and frankly it was good because the scenery is beautiful and it refreshes well when you fall into the water 🤣. The staff is very kind. The only downside but they can't help it is in some places we blocked because level too low. Honestly you have to do it at least once in your life 🙂.

Fun sports activity for one day Fun trip, with enough variety between exciting moments and moments of rest. There is plenty of choice of different tours at different levels.A snack on the way would be appreciated.
